Our Experience:

I have worked with children since I can remember.  I began by volunteering in Emergency Shelter homes and from there decided to go to school for Child Psychology.  I worked in the Moreno Valley School District as an Instructional Assistant for Special Needs Children for just over 13 years.  I was primarily in charge of the kindergardeners as well as the First Graders.    I helped create curriculum, lesson plans and instruct as well.  After being in an educational environment for so long, after having my son I decided I wanted to be home with him. 

I knew that I wanted to bring the curriculum I saw work first hand with students in the school district into my family child care.  I try to use the knowledge from my career at the school district to help the children learn in a fun and exciting way.

 I continue my education via the R.C.F.C.C.A , Riverside Consortium and College Courses.

 I have been fingerprinted, background checked by not only Life Scan but also by the Moreno Valley Police Department.  I have a clean driving record, so you can feel safe when I transport your children.

 

Our Theory:

• Children should be allowed to learn at their pace.
• Children should be allowed to explore their environment freely and thereby learn freely.
• Children are taught best by example.
• Children thrive best in a family environment.
• Children need consistency in caregivers.
• Children learn and stay healthiest in a small group.
• Children benefit most from a daily return to childcare.

My Motivation:

After suddenly loosing my mother to a car crash in 2005 I realized how much love and support my mother gave me unconditionally and how important a chid parent or child caregiver relationship was. 

Once I decided to have a child all I wanted was the best for him.  I wanted to ensure he too had the kind of loving and postitive relationship my mother and I had.

From that point on I have made it my profession to care for children with the same goal;  To positively impact their lives. 

My goal is to always do what is best for not only my child but yours as well.
